Just recently I got two engines rebuilt for in my crf250R's 2013, first one went in and fired up first kick and runs like a charm. Got the second one in tonight and it has a knock. both engines were rebuilt from top to bottom with new parts by a reputable shop. Does anyone have any suggestions of what it might be. I don't want have to send it back if its just a simple fix

I've seen the piston in backwards before and it made a knock sound. That would be an easy fix if so.

Cam timing off a tooth or piston backwards. I've experienced both. Backwards piston was on a reverse Yamaha so it was an honest mistake.
