Does my cylinder need to be plated?

03 CR250, I recently bought the bike. Compression was a little low so I bought it with the intention of doing the top end. It had a good bit of blow by on the piston. Cranking it over slowly, I could hear it leaking past when I pulled the reeds out. Just pulled the jug off and found this. There's little to no cross hatching left, but this mark by the exhaust port concerns me.

Yes, I think the cylinder needs some work. The marks at the exhaust port is caused by the exhaust port bridge needing to be chamfered and relieved. The need for this is shown by the piston depositing material on that part of the cylinder.

Most definitely needs replated. US Chrome, or Millenium Technologies.
