Anybody run these wheels? I'm looking to have a spare set of wheels for desert racing stuff. Seems like a pretty good deal at $600 for a set( minus rotors and sprocket) Good deal or ??

Do yourself a favor and buy a set of new stock wheels that someone took off their bike and put on ebay. You'll save money and get better wheels.

They are pretty good wheels. I know a couple guys that ran them for over a year without problems. They both had to buy new bearings for them a couple months in but besides that they held up well.

Finish of course! Smile Maybe they would be better suited for moto and not endurance type racing?

Own 3 sets for past 2 years. $450 a set at local dealer. Use for practice tires. No problems.

I had a set on my YZ450F...... = JUNK. DO NOT BUY THEM.

I kept getting flat tires. I destroyed 2 brand new tires in about 3 hours of riding. The spokes kept coming lose and poking the tube, and for some reason, the rim locks wouldnt hold the rear tire to the rim. spend the extra and get a real set.

I just put a set of Talon hubs with Excel rims on my son's bike and couldnt be happier with them. Thats the way to go.

Mine are about 2 years old. They are black with red hubs on a Honda 450. The front rim (only the front, back is still fine) has faded horrible. Looks gold now. They won't warranty then. If you want your bike to look good (and you do or you wouldn't be looking at wheel sets) don't buy DNA. Bearings are garbage also. Not a good experience for me.
