Also is there a way to restore the paint on my pro moto billet insert, half of it still has fresh red but the other is faded. See how it's kind of a full orange on one side

i think you are better off stripping the PMB piece to bare aluminum. Stripping anodizing is pretty easy.
I always used easy off heavy duty oven cleaner, spay on thick and let it sit in a old kitchen pot for a few hours. rinse with cold water.

Are you wrapping the can or the tube that goes into it? The canister won't get that hot. Even the inner pipe isn't likely to be THAT hot, but I bet it will be close. The header pipe can be really hot, so don't wrap that unless you have actual pipe wrap.

i think it will be too hot for the wrap. i have wrapped stuff close to exhaust and it dont last to long.
as for the billet piece i would go with what cheesepreetza said
