Hey Guys...

We're moving house, got to the garage, bike hasn't been ridden in 3 months I'd guess. Washed down as normal last time, clean as a whistle, is always in good nick.

Went to roll it backwards, no front brake to catch myself... Lever to the grip. In a bit of a rush but looked like there was fluid through the window... what could it be? Split line? Didn't see any evidence of a drip, tho it could have dried by now I guess...

Any other ideas?

I've had that happen to me before as well. I was able to bleed the line and got it working properly again. Possible air getting into it?

Bleed it out, sounds like lack of pressure in the line. I dunno what you ride but I think on most front brake assemblies there are washers that can become compromised which can cause slow leaks or let air in. I have faith that you will figure it out when you have a second Grinning

Change the fluid and bleed the brakes front and rear. Rebuild both master cylinders if you cant get the lever to feel firm.

You should always be checking stuff like this when you are warming the bike up before you hop on and take off.

Cheers guys... Hadn't heard the zip-ty lever thing but it seems like the go... Will try that now and if I have to rebuild will happen after the move! Now, back to packing boxes haha
