I would go with BILLS pipe and silencer, I read somewhere that it was the best overall pipe for the KTM 250sx. Pro circuit will give you more mid and top end, FMF more low end, and flatter on top. I think they said BILLS had a good pull all the way thru. You could also look into DEP pipes, heard good things about them to. Don't know much about SCALVINI exhausts. Guess it's all in what your looking for. Hope this helps.

I have the bills , pc, fmf, and the scalvini, my favorite is the scalvini with the carbon fiber silencer.

Mungusman funny enough I've just been looking at the bills pipes doc wobbly imports them over here in the UK. I remember them from back in the day...!!! Scalvini a do look the bo****ks but I'd prefer performance over looks. And I'd probably go with the plated front pipe for ease of looking after as the bare finished is a pain to keep looking fresh!!!

I just recently installed a Bills on my 13 250sx. Limited run time but im very happy with it so far. As others have said seems to pull stronger all the way thru. Only have the productiin pipe to compare to.

Sorry to hear about the neck surgery, but potentially interested in some of your "catalog". No distinct plans for the offseason but always looking for a potential upgrade...

I had them all too except the HGS and DEP pipes and the Bill's combo was the best set up on both of my 300SX's for what I do and my riding style. It was the smoothest and definitely revved the furthest. I also put them on a number of guys 250SX's back here in New England and they all loved the Bill's too.

I've tried FMF and bills.

The FMF system is nice, really durable pipe and the rubber mounted silencer is really nice.

Kept the bills pipe/siliencer

Had the bills silencer core break after 6 months. Let them know and they sent out a new one redesigned in that area. No charge.

Also crashed in a race, crushed the pipe pretty bad. Let them know and they sent me a new pipe and knocked 75.00 bucks off. I thought that was awesome.

Had a bills pipe and (new) silencer as well. First race some hit a rock and kinked the head pipe at the first bend. Pipe performed great but was just frustrated I only got 2 hours out of a $200 pipe. Probably could have happened to most other pipes though. My next purchase will be a gnarly purely for the thicker metal.

Side note: running the stock expansion with bills silencer and I'm really pleased with it. Aside from the dings the stocker get, I thought it performed pretty well.

IMO and prior knowledge gnarly exhausts just end up bending at the stinger as opposed to knicking or denting. Pick your poison.

I didn't think about that. I guess I should just avoid rock garden sections in general Whistling . Also, did not mean to sound critical of the bills. Like I said, probably would have happened with any other pipe.
