Hey folks, I know this is more of a motocross forum, but I need a little advice on a banshee rebuild. I'm rebuilding my friends 00' banshee and I'm having the cylinders bored 25mm over which would make it 64.25mm. Should I get bigger carbs as well? Or what. He just joy rides, but wants more power.

Stock carbs should be fine. Just keep an eye on the jetting.

Those things are really sensitive to jetting; I second what PawPaw says about keeping the stock carbs. Also, make sure the carbs are synced or it will run like crap.

Use the stockers and eliminate the TORS if it hasn't been done already. You dont have to get all technical with the carb sync, just make sure both slides move at the same time off idle. Search the google, there's plenty of info out there on Banshees with stock carbs.
