Hello all Im interested in putting these tusk hubs
on my new 2014 Husqvarna Tc 250 that I picked up for $6400 OTD They are the kx 250f hubs not the KTM ones. Orange won't look good on a Husky... SO will blue kx hubs with right spacer fit. If i have to make a custom spacer it can be done I have a machining class 1st & 2nd period in the high school

You'd also need to check axle/bearing diameter. I'm not sure what the kxf is offhand.

They can be but you may have to put spacers be hind your brake caliper. The hub could be off set on one side or the other aking the spokes or disc to close to your lugs or to close to your lugs. I just went through this actually fitting up a rmz Akit forks only on a honda cr. It worked but I have access to a machine shop 24/7. Needless to say it's a pain to get right. I will be putting cr Lugs on pretty quick. Best thing is get a wheel and hub from your buddies bike and fit it up first.

Uhh, there's a few other things that need to be taken into consideration. For example, everything...LOL

Seriously though, what is the left/right positioning of both the sprocket and rotor? What is the left/right spacing between the sprocket and rotor? Do the KX and Husky use the same size rotor? If not, will you be able to mount a Husky rotor to the KX hub?

What is the overall width of the 2 hubs compared to each other? Even with custom spacers it might not be possible.

I get the color thing and make the bike like you want, but the stock KTM/Husky hubs are excellent. You would be doing yourself a disservice doing all that work for a shity set of wheels because of color.

Since the wheels your bike comes with are pretty damn good, why not have the anodized? Its very inexpensive in my option.

This is a set I have put one season on since anodized:

Sent my stuff to http://www.colorsinc.com/ (web site looks like shit but they are good) Rims and Hubs anodized was 130.00.
