What did the suspension company say when you called them?

Your owners manual has that figure in it.

X2 and buy a service manual. If rear spring isn't correct for you , You won't get the sag where it's needed.

105mm is what I run on my 16, assuming 17 would be the same.

Am I the only one who can't seem to get a good angle with a punch on the 16 & 17 KX's? Not really any good size openings from the side

That's worse than struggling with a punch there's absolutely no where to fit a spanner in without taking airbox off.

Was just getting ready to start this topic. I literally just came from a buddy's house trying to set his. Never did get the lock nut loose. Was afraid of destroying the only place I could get s punch on if I kept trying.

Also his owners manual has the inner and outer chamber on the forks labeled backwards.

Did they accidentally give him a 2016 Manual? They switched the chambers from 16 to 17

I have mine at 104 also. More importantly, make sure your free sag is between 25-45mm. Otherwise you'll need a new spring.

I think this Kawi is one of the easier bikes to adjust sag on that I've owned. Go behind the shock between the airbox to go one direction, go in front of the frame rail to go the other. Folding the kickstart out can help with access, too.
