I have seen the fuel pumps come unplugged after crashes. When you try to start it. do you hear the fuel pump run?
Also check the kill switch.

Spark plug is sparking and i hear the fuel pump running when i start. I disconnected kill switch(plastic case), visually checked kill switch wire, seemed ok.

Don't know about your bike, but on mine a sand crash (real sand) you need to try to flush out the kill switch or else it will act as if it is engaged.

This /\

Unplug your kill switch and see if it will fire.

Did that. At least i think so. Will try again just in case. Anything else? Have had crashes like this before. No problem.

You say you have spark, right?
Is it a very strong Blue spark?
If not check the coil mounts for rust.
If ok, then do an OHK,s test on the coil.

Spark seems ok(at least i think so). Do you really think coil is broken, only 13 hours on the bike?

It is most likely not broken, but dirty or rusty mounts will have an effect on spark strength and color. Doing the OHM test and making sure the kill switch is 100% clean and working will tell the story.
Also check every electrical connection for dirt and rust as well.
Make sure all the engine mounts are tight and free of rust as well.
How old is the fuel in the unit? If old it could have clogged the fuel system.
Have you also checked the valve clearances?

Fuel is new. Checked most of connections. Kill switch seems ok with ohm tester.Should there be no spark ,if killswitch problem? I test tomorrow coil. But if nothing then i take it to mechanic. I am not very good with motors( at least repairing them).

isnt there a tip over sensor that kills the motor so it doesnt starve for oil?maybe it went goofy with the crash. just a thought.i still would put money on the kill switch or related wire to it. was that the crash side? good luck.

I had a mild crash in sand track. When the bike was down it was running, then i turned it off(kill switch). After clearing my head i tried to start. It turns ,but wont start. Have tried the position sensor, new plug, checked the wires, plugs. Nothing. Not even a singel pop.

Have anybody had similar case?(Excuse the grammar)

Thanks.
Check the injector at the bottom of the throttle body and make sure that it is all connected. Had mine snap off a few weeks back, turned over but didnt want to start.

The tip over sensor is under the seat near the Ecu. Maybe check to make sure the ball is free.

If the kill switch was "engaged" I don't think the bike would spark?

Maybe your little in line fuel filter is clogged?

Thank you all for taking the time to answer.

The tip over sensor was the first thing i checked, disconnected it and tried then. Nope.
The crash at least ended in the side, dont really know how exactly.
Will check the injector/throttle body again.
Allready changed the little fuel filter inside the fuel line.

One of our group had similar thing. Reason was that, timing chain skipped one thooth or someting and the timing was off. But it was older ktm 13 or 14.Thoughts?

No codes, at least none listed in manual. Its kind of hard to understand it like sometimes flashes sometimes not.

Pull the air filter and squirt some WD40 down the intake while trying to start. If it starts then dies you know it's fuel related. Make sure the airbox is clean so it does not suck sand down the intake.

Check your fuel filter connection. Unplug and make sure it snaps back into place. Cartwheeled my 450 last weekend and it wouldn't start. A friend noticed the connection looked loose. Pulled it apart and put it back together, fired right up. Dealership mechanic said he had heard of couple others doing it after hard crash

If you can shoot a video of it flashing next time. Maybe we can help decode it for you?
