The thing that will prevent you from doing the shrouds in the larger protruding black portion of the 15 tank. The 15 shrouds will not match up to the curvature of your 13.

you don't have to use the cycra front plate, the stock '13+ plate will fit the '09-'12 with the '13+front fender.

12 was a better looking bike IMO... Could do front fender conversation tho.

What I'm asking is can it be done by going the whole hog and even changing tank etc? I guess the question is : are the subframe and frame too different to attempt this?
As I said I don't want it looking ghetto.

I like the side panels and tail of the '15, that's what I'm after on the '12

I agree. Those 12 CRF's are the best looking CRF designs to date.

X3. Honda really screwed the pooch with that ugly turtle-back tank on the 13-16. And I think we learned in about 1995 that there is nothing worse than bubbly, curled up graphics applied to exposed gas tanks.

Not to mention the bulging rear shrouds. Might look strange with the single exhaust system on the 2012. Plus they are a real pain to get decals on.

Here is my CR500AF build which is 09 450 frame and using 16 plastics (Racetech). Has required quiet a lot of cutting at the rear especially the mud guard to get right. I still need to weld some tabs on the frame to allow the rear shrouds to bolt on.
