I haven’t posted much here and searched for a bike build subject/area here but could not find one. So If my thread does not fit here, admin please guide me right.
(I will also post pictures on the “finished bike” on the “2015 YZ thread”)
I have a 2008 YZ250 that I bought last summer. I haven’t been on a MX bike since 2011 after problems with a nagging back injury that goes back all the way to 2004. Anyways, here is my story and project bike.
Back to the ’08 bike. I thought it could be a good idea to get a 2-stroke last summer. Thinking that, if my back was not good enough I wouldn’t loose so much money as on a 4-stroke sitting in the garage. I am 40 next year and have come to peace in mind with (sort of) that I can only ride depending on my backs daily fitness. So going back to my roots with a 2-stroke sitting in my garage was my choice.
I got to ride my ’08 aprox 6-7 times last year and my back felt ok. So when the winter came, I started day dreaming of fitting the bike with trick parts. December came and I had some money to spend after Christmas and I went “crazy” shopping online and had a friend bring me the things back to Sweden from Florida where he spent Christmas holidays. It turned out he had to buy a large new suitcase just for my parts… 
As I waited for my friend to come home with the parts, I started thinking… should I really put all these new parts on my ’08 bike. The parts value that I had ordered was higher than the bike itself!
So, I made a decision, to “go all in” and buy a brand new 2015 model. Here we go!

I hope you guys will enjoy my thread. I will try to do a review on the bike and parts along the way.

I began with un-packing some of the parts:

I then started with installing the CV4 radiator hose kit.

Here comes my first review. I did not think the fit was very good on one of the hoses. I felt it was to long as the bends "bent to much":

So I cut it of until I felt the fitment was better:

Next was installing the V-Force Delta 3 reed valve. It had perfect fit and easy installation:

Up next was the Works Connection launch control:

The provided template worked fine. A tip from my experience, be careful when drilling with the counter sink drill (provided with the kit), I think I drilled a bit to close to the steel template because I felt that the drill lost its "sharpness" as I think it took relatively long time to drill through the plastic.

How about a ESR 325cc kit, APT smart carb, balanced crank, ISF trans, ceramics bearings, Ti and Al bolts?
