Hey everyone! I was looking into the engine relocation kit by DRD to go on my YZ 450 and was wondering if anyone here had any past experience with them? Does it actually help the front end at all or is there any other solutions for this? Thanks!

Good product, keep in mind ya cant use radiator braces with it. IMO I wd moves the forks in the clamps,or buy different offset, and a rear link. Still won't turn like a zook though.

I have a 2013YZ450f. I tried a lowering link which settled the rear end down (which I didn't really have a problem with) but made the vague steering sensation worse.
I installed the Lightspeed eng relocation kit. It moves the engine forward 2mm vs the either 2.5 or 3mm the Dubach kit does. Big improvement. I then installed a set of 20mm offset clamps I found on Ebay. Both are big improvements and go hand in hand. Seems each of these two items compliments the other. Don't hesitate, just do it!

I doubt I'll be changing my offset but I am seriously considering the relocation kit. If it makes a difference is it worth the 150$ price tag?

I think you mean the radiator relocation kit. I have GYT-R braces on my radiators and the DR.D engine relocation kit, no problem. Mine is a 2013 model.

After I installed my relocation kit i didn't really notice much difference until I hit the track. It is a noticeable improvement, best thing I've done to improve handling, next will be a set of Ride eng 20mm triple clamps with the HPSD kit. Honestly sliding the forks through the clamps doesn't do much on its own. haven't tried the lowering link but if 20mm offset clamps + the engine relocation kit doesn't make a big difference i doubt the lowering link will fix it.

Everyone thats never ridden a 2010 - 2013 YZ450F thinks they are rubbish becuase James Stewart won the title on the 09 and then proceeded to crash at every opportunity on the 2010, then he went to suzuki and kept crashing his brains out... Bear in mind corners aren't these bikes strong point. They are great on high speed straights, its just trying to find that balance that every rider is chasing.
