2003 KX250 Rad Hoses

Are these the same as 2004 and newer KX250 hoses? (2 stroke).

eBay listings ignore the 2003, what is the difference?? There are a few that include the 2003, but the majority does not, are they the same?

I looked there, and other sites as well, came up with mixed results.

Unless I get an answer here, I will probably dismantle my stuff, try to match it with pics on the web of other kits.

03 and 04 engines were the same as far as I know, along with the rad routing. service manual doesn't distinguish to two years as it pertains to cooling, but does separate the 05-07 models from the 03. don't try to make the 05-07's work though, they're not even close.

The 03/04 use a ? shaped hose that goes to the back of the cylinder...... we have the kit but it is missing that hose....but we are working on getting the complete kit.

The 02 has the ? hose. Any chance the 2002 kit will work on a 2003?

true the 02 has a ? hose but they have different part #'s so something is different.

You can use the 02 hoses. The Kawasaki part number probably changed from a change to the rubber protectors. 02 and 03 use the same elbow from the cylinder and same waterpump. The cases are nearly identical and the cylinder can interchange.
