'16 125/150 SX oversized tank?

Anyone know of an oversized tank for these bikes? Want to run a couple XC races this year on the 150, but a 1.9 gal tank wont cut it.

Just refill your 1.9 gal tank at the halfway point.

Usually the KTM stock XC tanks aren't much bigger (2.6 gal for previous years) than your 1.9 gal stock SX tank.

I don't think anyone has a big tank for that bike yet.

I'll probably do that, and carry a MSR 20oz fuel bottle on me just in case.

No problem. I know it sucks. If you time it right, you should be able to make it at least an hour and a half. I know when I had my tc tank on my Husky I had to fuel around that point. An easy way to find out is to fill you bike up and go rip around for 30 minutes. Come back and measure exactly how much fuel you have used.

Can KTM get you a tank from an XC model. I think that they have them in Europe. You may be able to find a part number for one online and see if your dealer can order it.

I remember seeing some shop was converting the 2016 XC-F tanks to work on the 125/150 SX bikes but I can't recall who it was. Even then, however, I believe the XC-F tanks are only 2.25 gallons or so.

What year xc? The current xc's only have a 2.6 gallon tank.

2012, so not the new 2016 style but I assume it's been 3.1 up until now.

Not the case. KTM went to a smaller tank in 2013.
