Its a works pipe you need to scrub it down with wd40 and a scotch brite pad after every wash and it will look nice.

cool, thanks. i thought it odd that the seams are spared and that it never happened after washing her. what you say makes perfect sense. thanks!

I buy the WD40 in the bulk can, put in a old glass cleaner bottle and spray down motor and pipe good after wash. I do not rub it with any abrasives, haven't needed to.

Use eagle1 mag wheel cleaner on it, the rust will melt off.

Then rub it down with oil. After riding and washing, as said before, give it a quick scrub with Wd 40 and a scotch brite pad.

tell me about it! its a bail-out chain for the kiddo's kx65, except i think it came off a larger bike. just enough to get him out of the desert- havent had a chance to replace it yet.

Works pipes look so damn good but totally a pain if you're rushed for time. Nickel ones look tacky tho too!
