Took a few of the bikes down to Blythe over the past week and ripped up the Mojave. The storms have totally adjusted conditions, mainly for the better. There is a killer stretch of virgin sand along the powerlines, perhaps 10 miles long, that used to be whooped out, and is now a dream to fly down. i digress...
took the '14 250sx out the first morning, rode her hard 6-11ish, then again from 5-7ish. put her in the garage and woke up the next day to this. pipe/bike is 2.5 months old. never really gets wet outside of a power wash, and is garage kept always. this pipe looks like i lean her agains the shed year round for 10 years. i emailed the pics to my guy at PC, so we'll see what they say, but nothing like this has ever plagued my pipes before. ebola? aids??
anyone else have this happen on a well cared for new pipe?

Then rub it down with oil. After riding and washing, as said before, give it a quick scrub with Wd 40 and a scotch brite pad.
