11/5/2009 9:44 PM I had a similar problem with the same bolt on my 06 YZ 450, but it also happened on my 05 CRF 450. You just have to be really careful. The companies are trying to make everything as light a possible and unfortunately some things are being compromised that shouldn't be....like drain bolts. As for your dealer.....find a new one. I work at a shop and the way they treated you wouldn't fly with us.

Not the first time they screwed me though. When i had a quad I bought a set of tires from them and had them put them on. Then they charged me $50 to put them on

11/5/2009 11:14 PM Once you break the beads on the old tires, ATV tire's practically fall on/off the rims. And most competiton machines are sold AS IS, no warranty. Shops don't keep the doors open to work on bikes for free. And in your case, YOU broke the bolt. If you are just beginning to do your own work on your own bikes, this will not be your last wrenching misfortune. You just bought some experience, son.
