Hey guys I am trying to get my shop business going and wondered about adding a crank rebuilding service to my shop right now I bore and resleeve cylinders but I dont have the equipment to correctly rebuild cranks , they make some nice tools now to do the cranks right but wondered if I could get enough business to make it worth while ? Any thoughts ? Thanks

Besides just the labor aspect of it, you need to use quality parts. IIRC, Mr. Crankshaft uses the OEM Jap supplier for parts.

No china crap.

Yep ! I agree with that 100% only thing is if somebody mails me a crank to rebuild and they send slant eyed parts with it I cant do anything but install what they send , but my recomendation is to use good quality parts ,,

You should supply your own decent parts, not rely on the customer to supply them. You need to dosome research for vintage or obscure stuff.
