I'm not sure you have these parts !!!! Strange the frame with write Chesterfield !! Never seen before !!
i did ring suzuki gb and all they can say is they did sell a limited amount of chesterfields but have no records as it was so long ago but i can give them the details and £95 and they will give me a dating certificate though how they can do this if they have no records of the bikes???
i have never seen a frame no like this either but neither the engine or frame numbers look bodged so if they have been faked then it's a good job
The Shop
I think you may have something a bit special there
A belgium had this engine factory on his bike.
Never seen "chesterfield" on frame and engine case!!!
the way i see it there has been 23 years for it to lose all it's glitter if it is a 91 bike, the bike looks to have been neglected for some time and even has mould growing on it lol, maybe someone didn't know what they had and used it as a part's bike or maybe someone was good with a number punch set who can tell? I figure if it is real then somewhere out there must be at least another 45 bikes with similar frame and engine numbers.
as it is I'm going to start looking for bits based on it being a 91 bike as and when funds allow so this could be a very long term project lol.
After we will know really if it is works or not!!!
if it is a practice bike or a supercross bike then someone has had all the good stuff like wheels suspension and ally tank.
i can't wait for the answer one way or the other
"We never print Chesterfield in the motor e frame this parts not originals"
It is what i think !!
also thought i'd upload some more photo's
This head is from a works rm125 engine:
The top clamp is a stock item as well. A genuine 1990-1991 factory bike would have a billet top clamp like the one below.
I think the shock absorber is a WP shock but I'm not sure.
Your bike seems to be staid outdoor !! Too bad !!
it was just a project as i can't afford to buy a complete bike after the year I've had (months of cancer treatment including a major operation on my arm to remove a tumor) so I'll get it in the shed and clean it up buying parts as and when money allows.
maybe by next year it might start to look like a proper bike again lol
