Who sells wide footpegs that will replace the stock pegs on the 83 CR? Will current CRF pegs work without cutting and welding?

YZ pegs can be fairly easily installed, I have done this on several CR's including a 83 CR250. Just requires grinding down the part of the peg where the footpeg spring wraps around it. Use the YZ springs but you will have to remove one coil. Heat up and unwind the last coil, rebend the hook and cut off the excess. The new yz pegs from around 06 and up are titanium and cheap on Ebay. Make sure you get the pins and springs!

Other than that if you want some big pegs that slip right on..... www.vmxracing.com

I thought IMS or PFR made them but can't find anything with a giggle search. Seen some stuff on ebay but don't know Honda of that era well enough.
