By '83 , Sunshine (St.Pete) was history,as well as Chicken Farm. When did the Sports stadium finally go under? Had to be about the same time period.

Sears did run Nats for a couple of summers in addition to Trans AMA.
I remember one where the forgot to get a doc and the whole prgram was shit down for a few hours to get one out to the track. That was a miserable day.

Mid-Lake Raceway in Tallahassee was part of the winter am also. Opened in 1970, closed in 1975. Multi-million dollar homes there now, perched up on the hill over looking Lake Jackson (or what used to be a lake).
I can't remember which great said it - but one of them said it was the toughest track he'd ever ridden!

Yes, I remember that track also. Cant remember the name, but I also believe its reopened. That track did have Nationals.
