Mine had headshake also, but you have to stiffen the forks with stronger springs. And lower the rear sag a little. Then it handles good. PM'd you. I was really looking for an' 84, but an RM500 of any year seems pretty hard to find. I know the only reason I bought mine was because it sat on the showroom floor so long the dealer almost gave it to me when I bought my new 125 & 250!!
