Hi there!

I've started riding again after a break of 16 years. Trying to do it on the cheap I was looking in to older motocrossers, particulary the EVO class. Started out with 3 Suzuki RM125's that I got for 400 USD'ish.

After building the 125 I found the power lacking in the sand, of which we have the most here (Denmark).

This is just a few pictures of an RM250 '84 that I traded with a riding buddy for my 125.
Initially I thought it'd be a case of a fresh bore, piston and forkseals, but as it always turns out, everything was worn. Most bearings besides the headstock have been changed and mechanical side is up to snuff. Might do cosmetics come wintertime, but I also have an RM465, so that might take priority.

This is what I started with. As you can see it looks pretty tired.

Its still in a sad state, but a well working one. Looking for any stories on the FullFloater series Smile

Hey Lasse, if you run into Soren Mortensen send our regards from the guys at Robinson Cycle.

Your Floater was quite the popular item here in it's time. Welcome back to riding.
