Used to carry the Whoop De Chews all the time. Always wanted to get the chest protector like Ake wore. How about the "Techniques of Moto Cross" ?? I wore that book out

Mine got lost years ago. As a kid I read that book a million times, stared at the pictures. It was spiritual.

Would really like to see an updated version of this. Visualization techniques are very affective. I had the RAW method when I was a kid but the audio was terrible and couldn't understand most of what he was saying.

Another book from way back with techniques still relevant today. In addition to flat land wheeling methods it also covers some off road trials like wheeling and goes into Doug's bike build including the front wheel with custom electric motor in the hub. Once wheeling Doug would flip a switch for the electric motor to keep the front wheel spinning to create gyroscope forces to steer the bike. Pretty neat stuff.

I can't remember the exact event, but somebody punked Doug and put a bunch of duct tape on his skid plate and wrote "Wheelie Queen" on it.

He had no clue until going out and once the front wheel came up, everyone started yelling "Hey, Wheelie Queen" at him.

He had no clue.....

I had those RAW tapes. I found the guys voice annoyed me rather than inspired me. He sounded like he gargled with gravel.
