Anybody have photo's from the 1980's from Washougal (WA), Mabton (WA), Moxee (WA), Starbuck, Horn Rapids, Sandy (OR), McMinnville (OR), Cour de Lene (ID), Clarks Ranch (OR), Woodland (WA), SIR (WA), or any others.

Also what tracks used to be ran in the 80's and no longer exist?

I ran from 1981 through 1991 on all of these tracks and a few more I can't think of right now.

here is one from the shadow glen track summer of 1982....the sand wash section. i'm leading mike kiedrowski on his yz80...we had some battles back in the day in the 80cc int class...fun stuff.

I raced at Horn Rapids, SIR(Seattle Int. Raceway), Cour De Lane.....and Colville had a cool track,too!!

I have a box of old Mabton, Washougal, MtView and Horn Rapids photos, however most of my photos from Kiona/Benton, Suntargets, Starbuck, MosesLake, SIR, Puyallup, Spanaway, and Clarkia were lost in a fire 10 years ago. The list of tracks that are gone is much longer than the list of tracks that remain. Puyallup, Spanaway, Startup, Jolly Rogers, McMinnville, DarogaPark, Elk Heights, MosesLake, Oroville, SunTargets, Brewster, Rock Island, Kiona, Starbuck are just a few that are now gone. How many would get excited about racing again at Starbuck if the opportunity were there?

Thanks for the tip. We'd get some Northwest riders in NorCal; and visa versa.

This is a few years later, but remember a kid named Robby Watillo, think '85 from PNW.

Rode Sunday Golden State Pro day at E st Marysville; 125 Yammer think and got tangled up in first turn crash. Got hurt like a peg drove into his leg or maybe worse.

Never heard him race again. Seemed he was a up and coming talent. Just wonder anyone from NW remembers the young man.

I don't have much but here are a few images, I know we have lots of pictures somewhere but they are burried away in storage:

This shot is of my dad at Mabton I think...1978 or 79:


Here is a shot of my dad and uncle at Kiona...I'm not sure what year they stopped racing there but I know it was long before I started racing in the the later 80's. Daroga Park was another place in Eastern WA that sounded awesome and closed, I did a triathlon last summer at the State Park that is now there.

Not I sir. I raced, but got to local expert and Vet Pro in '90-93, was already 30 by then and quit racing myself in '93 to help a local prospect starting '94.

Possible to name some possible NorCal riders in that era making the trek up, but I don't know.

Who again knows where Mark Gregson is?.....Billy Joyce and sis Laurie want to get in touch with him.
