5/7/2008 5:24 AM I will start out scanning some...this is Chicken Farm MX at the top of one of the big hills on the track coming out of the pit. And it is me, Kevin Gilchrist, looking for others though.

I have no issues of County Wheels, and you'd think we would've saved them, but we didn't. How many years did my family write in that thing? That'd been a lot of papers. But what do I know?

Looks like Hannah and Howerton. I was there that day Howerton was riding real good , smooth stayed in front of Hannah the whole time.

5/7/2008 3:20 PM Guess I am two for two in knocking the webs out of my head. Mixed up Barnett with Howertown, yikes!
I wish I had some of those County Wheels papers also, would be cool. I only have some old Cycle News papers left. Also, am so amazed how you can pick up on all these people Joel!!! I don't recall the sandman though, but my record so far on picking the right people or getting the right names is almost a strike out. Maybe dinged my helmet too many times. www.racecode.com

Kevin if I remember you did pretty well for your first year in the National 250cc races. I remember reading cycle news and seeing your name around 12th place. Not bad Kevin.

5/8/2008 5:32 AM Wow that hit the jackpot with those pics and all those names in the NML points!
I remember the race where Olerich ran out of gas in Orlando, one of the best motos ever! Unbelievable and his mechanic in the shot too, but there is no way I could recall his name. Bill Moses and Laura Lee, nicest behind the scenes people that I forgot all about! Not to mention all the effort your family but into the racing scene Dave! Looking at other names in the points listings, does anyone know about Billy Long, Curt Shambley, John Choate, Karl Jordan, Dougy Longwell, Chris Violette, Jeremy Keating. I better cool it, I could go on and on with names of that list. I do know Tommy Richards moved to Atlanta and started a landscaping business. And Danny Speno was out here in Arizona for a while, but I have not seen him in a few years. Just unreal stuff, were you on a Suzuki in Palm Beach as I seem to only remember you on Yamahas, but I have not been too close with any of these? www.racecode.com

5/8/2008 5:47 AM A couple more later pics from the "Red" era that I scanned in tonight after my kids BMX practice tonight
This one actual had written Lockhart, August 1987, on the back of it, which I believe was Scalzo's Ft. Lauderdale track.
I believe this is Moroso Motorsports park in West Palm, don't believe anyone has brought that track up. ![]() www.racecode.com

Believe this is an Homestead shot at the finish line.
Some carnage from Gatorback, that swallowed the rear end of my YZ. ![]() www.racecode.com
