I decided to respring my 92 RM 125 and I found a shock spring but the fork springs are apparently nonexistent? The stock springs are 38kg and are a little light for my 190 pounds of manliness. I rebuilt this bike a few years ago and it's an absolute blast but the stock suspension is just a little soft. Race Tech and Eibach no longer make springs so, does anybody have 42 or 44kg springs they want to get rid of? Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated. Thanks dudes!

try Cannon Racecraft. They custom make any spring. I used them for a couple bikes and worked out great.

I had the same issue and went the same route as Pete24 did.

Thanks pete24, PitRacer & ibpassingass! Getting newer forks was an option I was looking into but wasn't sure how easy newer forks would bolt up? Ibpassngas...was it a pretty easy process getting your springs made?

My local suspension shop dealt with them directly. Give them your top and bottom OD and length measurements was all they needed if I remember. Price was same as race tech springs.

Looks like same forks as 92 rm 250..45U.. You can put in stock 250 springs get a little better action, .40"s.. Search bazar, there was a guy that recently advertised some stock springs from a 250.. Looks like I will run into this as well on my 92 250... Was not planning on swapping forks. For those that did upgrade to newer forks, do the 95 forks bolt right up?

Cannon race craft all the way. Not much more than buying springs from racetech.

Thanks for all the feedback guys. I called Cannon Racecraft and gave them the dimensions and in a week or so ill have my springs...easy peazy lemon squeezy! They answered all my questions and made it really easy so I would suggest to anyone looking for springs to call them up.

Anyone know this differences between the 94 twin chamber forks & the 95 twin chambers, looks like maybe fork caps are different..otherwise the same?

Back in 92 I had race tech do the suspension on my 92 rm125 and to this day I've never had a bike with suspension as good!!!!!!
Down hill braking bumps, gas it a little and never felt them... Big hits, soaked up like nothing...

I believe race tech can make whatever spring rate you need...
