I had alot of good times there. I was going through boxes in the garage and found a pic from the last race on the shadow glen course. I miss that place

I miss it, too.

Lots of good memories.

I was just going through my old pics yesterday, and found one of very few of me on my CZ 250 riding at the Dunes.

My high school motocross team practiced there a lot in the mid to late 70's.

Welcome to Vital, Dad!

Yep, turned many a laps, on both tracks, as well as a few SRA GPs there...Loved the Dunes.

I remember Jim Holley, handing me my ass there one Sunday...I thought I was the one to beat that day, I was waaaaaay wrong !

man I hated the dunes.....Or I think the dunes hated me. I always crashed there, bike broke.. you name it. I was a saddleback guy. The more blue groove it got the faster I went.........I sure do miss both of those places though.......

Andymoto.. Great shot Loved the GP's expectially the river crossings. For the folks that never rode Indian Dunes GP's we usually crossed the river three times and we gave you three options through the water ,over the bridge or the fastest way off the jump as this rider is doing...CRC usually had three GP's a year my favorite was Dunestown a spin-off of Hopetown...We ran the course through the movie sets left by the studios....
Again great picture...
Thanks Dad Dunes...

I raced SRA, and DRA, GPs there...Won, one of the last ones, wire, to wire. Had film (super 8) of it, but since have lost it.

I once chased Jim Holley, for about two laps, until he checked out...I had nothing for him.

In this photo, this guy is landing short...You really needed to fly far for a smooth landing.
