Does anyone have any idea what this logo is please, and any info on the them? Ive noticed it on the Helmets of a few AMA riders now in the early 90s, and been wondering who it was.

Doesnt seem to be a team sponsor but more a personal sponsor on selected riders?

Cheers

Hey Chuck, I believe the decals were worn in remembrance of someone who passed.

Trying to do some research to confirm. I do remember this decal on McGrath's helmets around 1993.

Tony Blazier may be the best bet for a quick answer.

I think you are correct about the sticker being a tribute to someone. I also cant give you the answer who it was

Jeff Grafton

He was Broc Glover little buddy on a yz 80 in the riding mx glover style movie. In the mid 80s he was in the jt catalogs. He rode Yamahas and then had some Suzuki support and did some 125 west sx in the early 90s.

Lots of the top riders on the 90s ran that tribute sticker. I believe there's been other threads on here about him if you do a search.

That answers my questions - appreciate the answers, shame it's a sad story behind it.

I'd noticed it on McGraths (as previously mentioned), Ryan Hughes in 94, and luckily had this helmet arrive last night from America! A race worn 1992 Buddy Antunez Peak helmet, and noticed this had the same sticker too.

Before i saw it on any other helmets i just thought it was a random sticker, so glad it didn't go and pull it off now!

RIP Jeff.

All sadness aside, that helmet is amazing! Congrats again Chuck! You should get a helmet wrap made... and send me a copy. Wink
