Honda cr 125 1986 pro circuit

I just picked up a new exhaust for my 86 cr 125
I fitted the exhaust spigot on the cylinder and noticed a 4 mm overlap that I have marked in the photo
Surely this will interfere with the returning exhaust gases ? It may be meant to be for I contact PC I wonder what you all thought and whether I should chamfer off to make flush with the spigot

It would be worse if it was the other way around but I'd say just grind the port to match the pipe. I had a similar mismatch on my 90 & 96 but maybe 1mm.
