I would never think that the addition of a disc brake on the rear of that bike would jump out to me. Which it does. I can walk out of the house with my shirt buttoned wrong and not notice, but that I do
Is that the 125 you had the big #6 on?
It looks really good

Thanks for all the great comments. No this is not the 125 with the number 6 that is my 250 which is in my garage.

Like it? How about love it!?!? Awesome job. How does it ride? I remember mine as having a ton of low-end grunt.

Thanks again for the nice comments.
Harry Backmon, it goes very well. I have just fitted a new con rod kit, main bearings, output shaft bearing and seals. New piston ring and bearing. I polished the head and exhaust port. VForce 3 reed block. It has a 36mm carb, CR250 radiators, NOS 87 CR500 forks with the lowers hard anodised and a Mugen kit fitted. Pro Circuit works exhaust with the ATAC chamber removed, NOS silencer. CR250 (86) shock with hard anodised body and reservoir, 4.5kg spring, re-valved for my weight and (slow) speed. Rear disc conversion. Nearly every nut and bolt is titanium with the exception of the axles, swing arm pivot bolt and shock linkage bolts but they are coming next. I ran it up the dirt road outside our house the other evening and it pulls like ten men! She's my baby.

That is one of THE best bikes ever made. Man I rode and rode and rode one of those until the water pump cover rotted out.

Well, it sure is impressive! I'd love to spin it up for a lap or three.

Thank you. The rear brake is from a CR 87/88/89. Yes, I use it, not very often but it gets used.
