Yep, same here..... good times! Need some more info on that Maico 490. Can you get engine and frame numbers for me so I can verify it is all 81 components? Someone seems interested in it!

Joe went 1-1 on the little 79 cr125 yard sale bike. Excellent ride Sir!!!

Joe,did you convert you're 1979 CR 125 to run the 21" front tire or did you stick with the 23". I was able to ride that bike recently and really liked it .

My $10.00 side of the road special...until the kid decided to put $2000.00 worth of Fox Forx on it! So why stop there...lol.

Yep, did the Al Baker frame mod. So easy, even a caveman can do it. 21 inch front wheel , Mugen Replica swing arm, Race Tech modded Fox Forx, Works Performance Pro Racer rear shocks and a 19 inch rear wheel. Set it all up for 10 1/2 inches of travel front and rear. Used the 1980 CR125 seat (taller in front) and side panels. The 78-80 CR250 front fender looks sooooooo much better on front than the 125 fender.
