If anyone knows if this engine is similar to any other engine and if maybe what piston would work in it would be helpful. Im thinking on doing a top end on it but haven't a clue as to what piston would fit it. The pipe is pretty ragged also is there a aftermarket one still available?

The engine is close to a YZ 125 in I remember correctly. As for the pipe, it could be a Messico Racing pipe from Italy....Not sure if FMF was a supplier of OEM pipes back in 2000.

As for parts here is a start. http://partsfinder.onlinemicrofiche.com/gofasters/showmodel.asp

These guys are one of the best = http://www.halls-cycles.com/

I know a little bit about GasGas, I've own one since 2000. Mine is a 99 EC200

As for the pipe, I'd give these guys a try, https://www.piperepair.com/ they have repaired my Messico pipe many times with good results. If your OEM pipe is a Messico, your going to be hard pressed to find a replacement here in the states. DEP, HGS mays offer a pipe.

Hope this helps.....good luck!

I don't know if they folded up or not, but my local dealer now has Husky instead of Gas Gas.
B8RES my 125 looks about the same as yours, plastic color and exhaust style (stamped). The link for the parts didn't pull up, any way you could check the link out and repost it?

The early GasGas say...95-97 or 98 used TM motors in the 125.

Find the GasGas OEM parts link......they don't list a 2000 .MC or Cross 125, so look for a 2002.
The motor hasn't seem many changes over the years.

If your pipe looks similar to mine, more than likely it's a Messico.......
