Custom '89 Honda CR650....tempted to buy it just to see the reaction of the competition's faces when I pull up to the gate at Mid-Ohio on this bad boy! No more Honda head shake....front wheel would never be on the ground! Question is....who is man enough??

She's available on Craigslist right now:

What could possible go wrong? It would sound good on the pipe, hitting it's stride in 5th entering talladega corner at Glen Helen. :-)

I think you'd be surprised at how dammed slow a CB650 is. It would struggle to holeshot a running race.
Maybe 54hp (if your lucky!!) weighs the same as small car. Tops out at less than 85.

Whatever floats your boat. It ain't my bike.

There are enough projects to take on restoring and building vintage race bikes. To me building a 4 cylinder dirt bike that isn't good for anything but throwing roost inno'dis just a waste of time and money.

LOL! You are right on Rocky....my reason for posting this was completely based on satire and humor. Just to clear things up....I have NO intention of really buying this bike and racing it. Done, over, now lets just imagine how scary it would be doing 60mph tank slappers on this baby. Or trying to get it to actually turn in the first corner after you pulled the holeshot.

The satire isn't wasted. I get what you were saying. I'm just being a curmudgeon
