You know you have the 2 stroke bug bad when even your street bike (crotch rocket is a 2 stroke). This is my 280lbs 121hp 85 Yamaha RZ500 Kenny Roberts Replica...you remember the ol' RD400 & RZ350 (got one of those too that looks like my 500). When I got my driver's license in the early 80s, an RZ was at the top of my list because I could not get enough of my dirt bikes so I had to have that same powerband rush on the street. This bike features a forward mounted YPVS, R6 swingarm, ZX636 forks, carbon fiber wheels and a motor that is any but stock...yeah 2 strokes rule! Mike P.

Oh that is sexy. I rode the RZ350 once and loved it. Always dreamed of taking one of those 500's for a spin.

Awesome bike. mike P.

Here is my all original KR RZ 350. Except for the Tomy exhaust......I have owned this since it was brand new. Super fun to ride. It sure gathers a crowd everywhere I take it..I also own a Canadian Spec. rZ500..

Here's picture of my RZ350 and though it is heavily modified, all the parts are bolt on and I have about 90% of the originals (in case I need to put it back to original). I have owned mine for about 13 years and it has less than 11K miles on it.

I had that swingarm made by a company in England called JMC. It has an eccentric chain adjustment and I had JMC make it for a Honda HRC wheel (Magnesium NSR wheel). JMC also makes them for standard RZ350 wheels, but I wanted something wider on the rear. I had to use the cylinder head kickstand proper because the bike is now taller than it was stock as I used a 41mm Honda CBR fork that is hard anodized and has gold valves from Race Tech. The triple clamp is Honda HRC (NSR250). The shock is a Honda CBR with a custom spring that was valved and built by Race Tech. The motor has been ported, blueprinted, 2 piece clutch cover, 28mm Kehin flat side carbs bored to 30mm, 2 into 1 air filer (removed the airbox), VForce reeds, EBC oversized front brake rotors, Toroizzie rear sets boost bottle, Lomas stainless pipes with carbon cans and MSC ignition. The tail section is Air Tech, however I did not like how it looked so I cut it (shaped it myself) and then had another buddy of mine paint it. Bike is stupid fast (lots of wheelies)!

Nice RZ, I have not seen this one before, but you are obviously in the know when it comes to RZ's...Yeah! The you are correct about the Jolly Moto's on my 500. I used Lomas pipes on my RZ350, but the 500 was tuned for Jolly Moto's so there was no turning back. Mike

I remember when I saw my first RZ500...

I was down at Daytona for bike week in the mid 80's. All the exotic bikes came down from Canada. I have had a hard on for a RZ500 since that time.

I have had many Rz350's. Probably 5 or so.

Here is my current one. A very old pic. More has been done, but you get the picture.
