Many imperfections on this one. Decided to draw the line at a new airbox, air boot and intake manifold. Plus - no new rims/spokes. I was less thrifty with the rest. RIP bank account.

Can't help you with the boots, but how bad is your airbox? You can try to restore it yourself like a gas tank or there's a guy on Ebay that restores old MX tanks. He might do your airbox.

queenspode, I would use the daystar ones until I found a pair of #49006-1256 OEM boots. keep looking they will turn up on e-bay at some point, may be two years but they will turn up. Also, you asked if your 89 can race in vintage classes on my other thread, the answer at least in the ahrma or similar clubs is no. Your bike is considered new by those bozos and must race with bikes up to 1999.
