Aluminum kicker for 79 YZ 250 ?

Hi guys . I have a 79 YZ 250 and Im looking to put an aluminum kick start from a newer bike . Has anyone done this on a 79?
Even if I were to put the alum. lever onto my kick mount,that would work. Thanks,Chris

Didn't mean to stump you guys,lol. Looks like its a 19 mm shaft . Ill figure it out .
