Airbox restoration question

I usually de-grease my air box thoroughly, wash it then put it in the dishwasher to get it really clean. After that I wipe Vaseline all over it and let it sit for ten minutes then polish it off. It comes up really good.

It's really not that difficult. I used an orbital sander on my tank. For an airbox I would think one of those mouse triangle shaped pad vibratory sander would work well. Instead of buying special sanding pads just get the square sheets of sand paper ,trace the shape of the pad ,cut it out,and keep spray glueing them as you step it down (up?) in grits. The buffing is the easiest part. Just use a buffing wheel in a cordless drill. If your airbox is just dull and not hacked up just try that first
Or ignore me and listen to JTRacing6 because his Hondas look unbelievable
