91 RM yellow

We used Duplicolor engine paint for a 96. Not as bright as it should be.

If you have a sample of the color, piece of the frame, ect. Go to an autobody supply store. they will match the color from paint supplier chips or scan it with a photo, they can mix automotive type paint in a spray can. tell them u want enamel so no clear is required. I'm restoring an 88 rm 250. I have bought spray can paint from the local hardware stores & was able to get a nice looking finish, but it is not as durable as automotive paint. I had a small powervalve cover that is the color blue I need, we matched it up from a paint chip book & they mixed a can up for me. 26.00, yes, more expensive than Home depot, but this paint is quality stuff. as will all painting, prep is everything. wax & grease removal, red scotch brite pads for sanding frame & primer bare metal spots before color coat. If you have rust, then sand blasting should be done to remove the rust.

I just experienced that as well. I've used the Daytona Yellow Duplicolor paint on several small items and it seemed like it matched perfectly.

But, I just did a frame on my 92 and like the 96 posted, it's a little bit off.

What difference does it make? Not like it's a works bike or anything.

rite who the hell would want a works suzuki? or a carbon fiber works silencer
