Really interesting bike, a bit of a forgotten bike maybe? Last year of fins, first year of full floater. A bit of a collector?
Was it a 79-80 bike with the FF added or was there more major changes? Would love to hear more about this one.

Your bike looks stellar! Was it a low hour find or a complete redo? I see a trick looking case protector, Im sure theres more bits on it then that.
thanks

Always wanted one of those. Had a chance to get one last year for $400,...probably should have grabbed it.

yes, it was a low hour Original owner bike with all the paperwork
sales brochures, mso, and Minnesota registration, manual etc.
The only screws and bolt that were ever removed from the bike
air box cover screws and drain plug
I replaced every bearing, nut, bolt , shaft, con rod
( good luck finding one of those) I purchased the last
2 on the suzuki data base along with everypart needed to
buil the bike. My Suzuki parts wharehouse contact told me
some of the parts he found for me were the last ones here in the US
Some also came from the UK. i pay him a commision for searching the
the misc parts off the grid in the wharehouse sort piles, and he forwards
cash to his contacts to find parts

Sounds like ocd on the parts replacement with it being low hour Wink But that is awesome you keeping it %110 and racing it.
You have the inside line on getting parts
How does it ride?

Had one back in the day. Like an idiot I sold it and don't even remember who I sold it to. It was "old" in 87 when I sold it.
