You've built a few really good looking bikes there Wolfy. I like the small 77 125 tank on the 79 bike.
Did you bump up the rear a little taller than stock?

Rear shocks are 16.5 up about an inch, have two sets of springs,43mm forks had to machine triple clamps to proper fit this frame. Bikes is about 90% complete tank could use paint some fine tuning .
Do have a perfect Fox racing tank, bikes are defiantly hard to find I good condition, this came out of west coast, really good condition, ing and rotor look brand new, clutch basket didn't have a single grove pipe as cut in mid section, real strong motor. Have original tank, flat slide carb and longer boot from carb to airbox, just not in place

Paw, 2,900.00 the way it sits if really interested wolfskilld@gmail.com. can see all port work was documented in an earlier post, have a lot of other picture of build.

Honestly still on the fence with regards to selling

Going to keep evolving this project, was always inspired by Chuck Tunnlund and the Fox race bike, have some translucent plastic on the way,

Wolfy0067: nice job on this bike. Have you owned this bike for a while? can you compare stock bike vs bike with all your upgrades/ mods. How was crank & tranny? Stock carb/jetting? I collect vintage RM"s & also have a 79 250,

Suspension wise no comparison up front the stock 36mm forks are wimpy the 43mm forks can take the big jump landings, no flex, 88RM triple clamps are about 3mm wider clamping than all previous models. in the back they are actually rebuilt KYB shocks and work really well for vintage racing.

Motor is all rebuilt, this bike has very low hours look at the photo of the clutch, like brand new, no issues with trans, crank was rebuilt, see photos.

Cylinder work was to open up the intake 3mm and widen all other ports were smoothed and matched to cylinder. Bike run great a lot stronger than the stock motor, 10mm was cut out of the exhaust midsection.

Carb is stock, I have a 38mm flat slide from an 82 RM250, still working on proper fitment to the airbox.
