73-76 Elsi Billet intake manifolds

Finished these up last week for a friend/customer. The OEM rubber items are virtually impossible to find, these enable the fitment of a modern Mikuni carb.

Really stretched the old noggin programming 'em up though!

Some are going out for anodising black, which will look nice and stealthy!

Gonna do some more in the new year.

Looks great Stevie. Don't think anyone has made them since John Astleford passed away. Always appreciate the neat stuff you bring to the table.

Now can you do all of us early CR125M nuts a favor and build us a billet brake pedal similar to this CR250M unit? Those little things Honda put on are a joke all tucked away under the engine. I'll buy the first four of them!

This intake boot has been an issue in my Father in-laws build. Going to bring this up to him and see if he's interested.

125 and 250 Elsi pedals are on my list of "parts I want to make when I figure out how to fit 24hrs into an 8hr day".... its a pretty long list...

Apparently, I can only post half my post from my phone!

I should have Elis 35mm triple clamps and exhaust hanger/mounts soon aswell. The guy that ordered the manifolds ordered them aswell!!

That is a 250 pedal made by John Astleford 15 years ago. Very nice part as were all the pieces he made. I could get you one to fondle if you like.

We put a 125 reed cage in a Hiro 125 motor , and had to cast some of these, luckily we knew a pattern maker and a good machinist.

Newmann, I ment is this a 125 pedal?.. It's been in the garage, and then the 'shop for ever. (20yrs!!??) If so I have a sample!!

Yes, that is a 75-78 CR125 part. 1974 had a grease fitting in it. Stockers has plastic bushings with felt gaskets and a shouldered bolt. FMF made brass bushings to replace the stockers. The 250 pedal I have from Astleford has sealed bearings in it. Do you have a test mule to fit it on? And yes I will buy some and know another person who will as well. Maybe a few people...
