Are these desirable ? I have a set on my 2000 id be willing to sell if anybody really needs them.
To be fair, if you haven't checked already, the range these go used on eBay is $236 - $60. The ones that went for $236 came off one of Stewart's practice bikes and was marketed correctly ("stewart" "splitfire" etc in the title). The $60 ones came from a wrecking company and they just put them up for BIN without marketing them correctly in the title. I'd say both were of equal condition.
Having just sold a number of things on eBay, I'm familiar with their sales tax, which is 10% under $1000. So the $236 pullrods netted the seller $236-23.60 = $212.40. Add in listing fees and you're basically at $200 which is how I derived the price.
Assuming your rods are in good shape, then reach out to me when you can send pictures at james.strawn@sbcglobal.net.
I'm also looking for one or a pair of the "works" KYB fork caps. I have already bartered for everything else I need but the pullrods and I have one cap but I'll buy two when I can locate them.

Not everyone is bad. You just need to be super careful not to believe big stories and let yourself get used. I've had to learn this lesson, sadly, but it does make you value and appreciate the good interactions that much more. Some folks I've met here I am glad and fortunate to consider as friends, including you. Take care, Ace!
