Stumbled upon this on CL a few weeks ago. Sold my rider a few months ago and wasn't really planning on buying right now but (as noted on some other threads) I've been quietly looking for a 96-98. Stars aligned and I bought it. Guy kinda pissed me off a little posting an old, very clean pic of the bike. After a 2 hour drive to see it, saw the graphics peeling a bit and some back-yard bedliner job on some parts. Luckily he had some restraint with the bedliner crap.
Emailed N-Style this morning and they can't reprint the current graphics.
Got to start really checking it out in my shop, everything dry as a bone. Clutch pull like a 50 year old Harley. Pulled the seat and.....
...Happy Birthday to me!
A little cleaning
Don't think an ass was ever on it! ha

The Shop
Gave it a proper flogging yesterday before the winter teardown, not feeling the all top fmf pipe on it. Also came with a PC pipe but Im going to try a stock one to see if it brings the power down. Open to suggestions on that.
Good find
Pit Row
Anyone know if the swingarm was bare or painted factory?
Looks good, my 97 rm 125 needs a bottom end
Your RM looks pretty good!
Not sure if these bikes came with a cable clamp here but this bike and the other 96 I had both had the clutch cable wedged in between the pipe and powervalve cover.
More paint than I anticipated, stripped the swingarm and subframe, waiting on some bearings
