NEXT!
The 92 Peak PC CR125 is now safely parked up 100% complete, which means the next build begins!
Was seriously lucky to get an entry into the majorly over-subscribed Farleigh Castle Vets MXDN (September 2015), and this is the bike i'll be racing in it. Against the clock on this build though to get it finished properly with time to ride it and set it up before the race. It's a Super Evo class (90-96) that they've added for 2015 so unfortunately up against 250s and 500s, but should still be fun on the 125...
Luckily, I've been parts collecting for months now (not long after I started the 92 Peak CR125), so I've actually got most of the rare parts I need already.
Recently picked up a gem of a 94 KX125, mostly original and, under the dirt, a very straight bike and so should be a lot easier to build than the Honda!
Anyway, as usual, i'll keep it updated as the bike progresses, but should be a lot quicker this time round so won't have to keep you lot waiting!

Studied the frame and can't see any dents, cracks or damage. Will get it blasted and double check again, but all looks solid for now!
Also need a set of original 94-98 KX125/250 radiators. Need to be excellent condition please, if anyone has a set?!
Thanks
The Shop
I cannot read too many 90s KX builds :D
NOS Works Connection Skid plate also from CGH Imports! Tabs will be welded on the frame in a few days time, then off to be powdercoated and the build can begin!
I've made a bit of a silly mistake though! For years I've had a few NOS 94 Team seat covers and decals to match, selling off the ones I don't need...I have no idea how, but I've accidentally sold my last seat cover!!! Hopefully someone is able to help me out with a new original I can buy off them...I know they're out there as I sold 6 of them that my dad's friend has owned in stock since he closed his Kawasaki dealership in 98...
Thanks
I don't sell anything now till I've finished each project.
Nearly everything I've sold after having it sat around unused for years, I've needed within 6 months.
You got all the plastic?
Maybe Haha yep NOS UFO Blue Rear Fender/Side panels off Vintage Bike Ads a few months ago, White NOS UFO Radiator Shrouds off Dirk Timmer, KX Green Front fender, Natural Fork guards/guides and White Front number board from MD Racing (UFO UK Importer)... I'll post a pic up soon once the rad shrouds arrive
Thanks again mart
NOS Renthal cloth barpad
Pit Row
Works Connection Oil filler cap
Just back from Central Wheel from powdercoat, perfect job as usual!
All ally parts back from Vapour blasting, thanks to Stevie Denton!
