Thanks for posting that! I have alot of great memories of that track.
I grew up about 30 minutes away from there, and raced there 1980-1984 while in high school.
That place was/is great.
Mickey Kessler ruled that place in the 80's

Yea, I knew who it was, just giving him some crap...

Hey, who remembers when Timmy Ferry showed up on that RRP CR125 in, say, 1994 (?) and would whip the shit out of the elevator jump? That was crazy! Dungler was only other dude who could lay it that flat while hitting that thing.

Does anyone know if Carsten is still at it?

How about the time, sometime around 92 or 93 that some kid in the 125 Novice class lost it on the stupid kicker that was before the elevator?

I remember watching a friend who was in the same moto and saw the whole thing.

The kid hit that stupid kicker, went straight off the back, while bike landed on its wheels and ghost ride off the side of the elevator jump! It was an older YZ and looked like it was going mach 3 -- clearing the side by about 50' and landing on top of a motorhome with a nice metal to metal noise.

I think it took out the AC unit, an awning, and landed off the roof of the RV.

The RV was fxcked, but the bike was fine aside from some bent bars or something.

That was some funny shit - eTown was lucky no one was killed!

Do you remember E town running the other direction Joel? I know you weren't riding yet but I'm guessing you were at least potty trained in 78.I think it became a left first turn for 1980
