Hey guys finally decided to actually join the site with a username - this build was inspired by you the fellow vintage builders on this site . I started out with a basket case I'm in the final stages of completion just waiting for my factory lowboy cone pipe from pro circuit and for my factory kyb enzo forks to be retro-fitted for the 89 steering yoke for the pro circuit triple clamps - i will keep pics up to date as progression continues.

Great looking bike, but I think it would look better with the stock seat that I see in the background in one of the pics!

Will you race it at Unadilla Rewind this year?

BTW, I am the guy that texted you about your FMF pipe for sale...

Why are you switching to the USD forks? I've been told by a few that the 89 46mm are really good Nice job your bike looks great

I might find a jockey (Stratton, Lechien?) for my 89 KX250 and we will see who wins! Smile

I loved my 89 kx, forks were awesome! my first kx, magazines said it was slow or mellow but I holeshot alot of 250 b races on it. I was just down in Fla, had an 89 250 lined up for purchase, but it was sold on ebay before I could get it, came home with 82 rm 250. bike looks great!
