Look what I found guys! I NOS TUF racing shroud cover that they used on their team "works" bikes back in the late 80's. The word "TUF" is actually carved out of the plastic and you can see through it, I have never seen any shrouds like this ever, guess it was team issue only. I was hoping it would fit my 87 but not so lucky, it is for the 88-89 KX 125. If anybody wants it message me or leave a message here I will get back to you.

They had blue one's for the 86 KX's,and blue side panels too. Had the blue shroud on my 86 KX 80,till I got a bit of help from
DMC.

I think that I shall never see
A triple jump as big as the
Next time I won't try them as three

Nice find MXM! I don't think they were team issue, because I purchased one back in the day for my '87 KX-125. As you can see by my picture that they were blue for that year. So, since you have that bitchin rare piece, it looks like you should go ahead and find a '88-'89 to restore and add to your collection!

Mxracer106 you photo did not upload, can you try again? Did your shroud have the word "TUF" carved out of the plastic? On this one you can stick your finger right through it!

Opps! My bad...you should be able to see it now. Yes, it did have the word "TUF" cut out just like yours along with the wording "Tuf Works Replica" below Kawasaki on the decal. Was pretty cool stuff for back then!

You don't happen to have it still do you? I would love to find one for my 87 that I just finished, 88-89 shroud won't fit even though they are still using the same # radiator because they changed the tank and added another bolt hole to make it 4 were the 87 was 3 holes.

Hi:

Was drooling over that shroud.

I grew up racing in District 17 (Northern Illinois) where Tuf is located and have a 1989 Tuf Racing KX 125.

It has Tuf porting, Tuf pipe and Tuf modified suspension. It also has a grey Tuf shroud that is trashed.

If you don't have a use for that one, I sure could put it to good use.

Thanks

Unfortunately I do not, sad to say that shroud is long gone along with that bike. If I would have only known that all of that trick stuff back then would eventually be vintage......

Bernie....

Don't tease us.....let us see some pics of that '89 Tuf KX125!!

I grew up racing in District 15 (Indiana) right next to you....and always liked the looks of the Tuf Racing Kawasaki's.

It might be a little hard to see....but I also wore the limited addition AXO lime green boots, pants (with the "Tuf" logo on the back of the leg) and jerseys (not wearing it in this pic) that you could only get of course through them. Great stuff back then.....so wish I would have kept all of that gear!

There was a Kx for sale in NJ over the summer had orange the plastics. You see a shroud or side panel pop up on ebay every so often.
