Great bike! MXM. these bikes were way ahead of their time. Still look great today. Best part is reassembly when all sub ass'ys are done! I must be doing something wrong, I have to go out to the garage to work on my bikes! Powdercoat the frame? Back in 1987 I bought my first new bike, a 1987 rm 250. I ways always a loyal Suzuki guy up to that point. that summer I rode my buddies 87 Cr250 and never bought another Suzuki again! Until I started doing some resto's. That bike is to nice to ride! Nice job.

Your work is impressive sir! Do you have any cost saving tips for those of us that are just starting out in the restoration hobby? Such as, I'm pretty sure it was newmann that recommends a media blaster from Harbor Freight.

MXM love your work. I'm almost finished with my first restore job which is a 1988 KX 125 and almost ready to start my 1987 CR 125 but I have a question, I found all NOS OEM plastic for the KX except my tank, what do you use to make it look new? Anybody?
